What We Do

OUR SERVICES
Provide Human Touch
Complement Patient Care
Be An Extension of the Healthcare Facility
Nurses Touch Therapy (NTT) provides hospital patients with touch therapy that incorporates massage techniques and music with traditional nursing assessments.

Our therapy is provided by Licensed and Registered Nurses (RNs) who are specially selected and trained to treat patients.
It is the policy of Nurses Touch Therapy to employ only Licensed Registered Nurses. Our Registered Nurses are up-to-date on standards, HIPAA training, and comply with hospital-specific policies and standards.
OUR APPROACH
Touch Therapy Done With Care
Head-to-Toe Patient Assessment
Our Registered Nurse Therapist conducts an assessment of the patient prior to administering touch therapy, to include an evaluation of the patient's emotional state, and any obvious physical limitations relating to breathing, color and integrity of the skin. After 30- 45 minutes, the therapist returns the patient to a position for further rest and will report any abnormal clinical observations to the patient’s primary nurse.
Answer Questions & Provide Insights
Our Registered Nurse Therapist will listen to the patient's concerns, answer the patient's questions and provide insight when necessary. The goal of our approach is to alleviate fear by providing the patient the information they need.
Create a Soothing Environment
Our Registered Nurse Therapist will create a soothing and comforting environment for the patient by using music and aromatherapy, and setting proper lighting. Touch therapy begins when the environment feels comforting and relaxing.
Touch Therapy
Keeping the patient’s care in mind, our Registered Nurse Therapist begins touch therapy treatment using therapeutic lotions appropriate for that patient to message the patient’s arms, hands, legs, feet, and back.
Patient Satisfaction
Our touch therapy aims to provide patients with relaxation and relief from pain, stress, and anxiety. Patients are left comforted and with the feeling of having been cared-for, allowing the patient to experience the joy of healing that this type of therapy delivers. Nurses Touch Therapy patients feel emotional, mental, and physical relief, and as such, have expressed the highest levels of satisfaction with the care they received.
